Chris Marrs Piliero, the director of “I Wanna Go” music video talked with New York Post about Britney and the new funny video:
PopWrap: How did you team up with Britney?
Chris Marrs Piliero: She hit me up and asked me to put together a concept for the song. Simple as that. Having been a fan for a while, I was stoked to get the call since I’ve always thought she was one of the cooler pop artists.
PW: Where did the idea for this video come from?
Chris: The song is really fun, really upbeat with lots of sexual undertones — but the key lyric for me was “be a little inappropriate.” That stood out but I didn’t want to make a video that was all about sexual inappropriateness – that wasn’t the vibe that either of us wanted. We were on the same page about exploring fun ways for her to be inappropriate. She’s Britney Spears – how would you react if you asked for an autograph and she grabbed your ass?!?
PW: Were you worried that this might feel like “ugh, another paparazzi blasting video?
Chris: No. I’ve seen all of her videos and really wanted to pull what I loved about Britney from those, but give it something fresh. One thing that stood out to me was all her references to the paparazzi were always more of a statement than an action. She’d never embraced the opportunity to lash out, fight back. I thought this was the perfect chance to be tongue in cheek but also get her to say “f*** off!”
When Jamie Spears met with Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Reva Goetz in chambers June 3, among the matters under discussion was the custody of his daughter Britney’s two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
RadarOnline.com was the first to report that the top-secret meeting had taken place. Included were Jamie’s attorney Geraldine Wyle, Britney’s court-appointed attorney Sam Ingham, and Andrew Wallet, who along with Jamie is co-conservator over Britney.

The 28-year-old pop star grabbed lunch with her family at the diner-style hamburger joint Johnny Rockets on Friday afternoon (June 4) in Calabasas, Calif.
Her dad Jamie Spears accompanied her, as well as sons Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3.

Sources connected with Britney Spears tell TMZ … her conservatorship has essentially become a formality — because Britney now makes almost all of her personal decisions herself.
Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, is the official conservator and has the power to make life decisions for his daughter. But our sources say Jamie has quite intentionally pulled back and is allowing Britney to control her life — where she goes, what she does with her kids, etc.
As for when the conservatorship will end — it’s sketchy. Late last year, sources told TMZ the plan was to end the conservatorship around this time. But it now looks like the conservatorship will last at least ’til the end of summer. We’re told for his part, Jamie would like to set Britney free and get back home to Louisiana.
Sources tell us the court-appointed psychiatrist has conducted a new evaluation and is submitting his findings to the court. Everyone involved — including the shrink — say Britney is like a different person from the one who was on a 5150 in January 2008. She seems to be in no danger of even developing a habit playing bingo online, let alone shaving her head or umbrella-ing even the most aggravating paparazzo.
One final note — although Britney is making her own life decisions, the conservatorship over Britney Spears “the business” will stay in place indefinitely.
Britney Spears father Jamie Spears had a closed door meeting with the commissioner presiding over Britney’s conservatorship, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.
Jamie went directly into Judge Reba Goetz’s chambers at around 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon on June 3rd the court clerk told RadarOnline.com. The clerk also said the courtroom was closed for the rest of the day, and then locked the doors.
Earlier today, attorneys for Jamie Spears and Britney Spears were in front of Judge Reva Goetz discussing approval of attorney’s fees and sealing medical records, among other things. A source close to Britney told us that it was highly unlikely that the conservatorship would be ending by the end of summer.
The next official hearing for Brit’s conservatorship is scheduled for July 27th. Story developing…..

While Britney is the first and so far only Twitter user to reach the five million mark, she does have some company in the four million follower club, including Kutcher (who will likely reach the five million mark himself in June) and Lady GaGa, who is at the 4.2 million mark. Oprah Winfrey, a relative newcomer to Twitter, has amassed 3.6 million followers.
Taking care of her parental responsibilities, Britney Spears was spotted dropping her boys off at school in Los Angeles today (May 27).
The “Gimme More” songstress looked a bit dressed down as she passed the paparazzi, sporting a pair of purple velour pants, a white sweatshirt, and a pair of UGG boots.
