Moscow, June 28: A Russian farmer could become the proud owner of US pop diva Britney Spears’ USD 7.9 million mansion in California.

According to the Russian agency, Doki, the potential buyer for the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom Renaissance style home is a 48-year-old farmer from the South Russian city of Krasnodar.

The farmer identified only by his first name ‘Alexei’ and his family are expected to leave for US for viewing of the pop star’s house.

“The man has primarily been involved in agriculture for the past 16 years. At the current time among Alexei’s assets are 1,000 hectares of land, two pig farms, horticultural gardens and fruit and vegetable production facilities,” a press release said.

Apparently, one of the reasons he was attracted to the property is that his three daughters are huge Britney Spears fans.

“My daughters couldn’t believe it when I told them, that they really could live in the home of their idol,” the Russian farmer was quoted as saying in a statement by the real estate agency.

The day before Michael Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest and died, the King of Pop seemed completely fine, a magician working on his upcoming tour tells Usmagazine.com exclusively.

Ed Alonzo — who also worked as a concert magician on Britney Spear’s Circus tour — was hired by the late singer to help design some of the magical illusions for Jackson’s London shows.

“Michael was on stage performing the numbers, singing and dancing with the cast,” Alonzo told Us about seeing Jackson Wednesday evening at rehearsals. “It was a privilege to be able to watch the concert that no one will see now.”

He said Jackson — wearing a white shirt and pants — arrived at the Staples Center in L.A. around 6:30 p.m.

Britney Spears is bringing “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” back to North America with a little help from special guests, Kristinia DeBarge and Ciara. Both artists are set to open for Britney during her return to Canada and the U.S. beginning August 20th.

Ciara, the 24-year old Grammy Award winning artist, most recently seen as the opening act for Britney in London, will be joined by Kristinia DeBarge in August for the 20-city tour.

Daughter of 80’s pop star, James DeBarge, Kristinia got her start as one of the top 20 “American Juniors” when she was 13. She then went on to work with Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and landed her record deal with Island Def Jam two days before her 19th birthday. DeBarge’s current single, “Goodbye” can be heard on itunes and is featured in Nivea’s national television campaign.
