MIAMI – The Britney Spears comeback story that began with a new hit album, Circus, took another step forward on Saturday in concert. The almost-fallen singer came to South Florida with a smart, entertaining live show that confirmed the renewal of her pop-star credibility.
Spears, 27, basically staged a high-tech club night inside AmericanAirlines Arena for a crowd of 18,640, one of the largest ever for a concert at that building. It was also the most concise and coherent production she’s ever taken on the road — equal parts technicolor circus, fetish party and danceteria.
However much or little Spears actually sang, as opposed to lip-synching, was beside the point in this 90-minute deployment of thumping beats and eye candy. Spears job on Saturday was to be the personality and the center of attention. She served as host and ringmistress, running a busy, densely populated spectacle.

A rep from Sony revealed that Britney rehearsed ‘Do Somethin’ “all day” at Stage 27 at the SONY lot, on Washington Blvd, in Culver City Thursday afternoon. Security was “extreme.”
“They are practicing on the actual tour stage, the stage is too huge to fit in a dance studio,” said the source.

The pop princess has leased this home dubbed Chateau Suenos, which in addition to being offered for sale at ,990,000 was also available for lease at ,000 per month. Spears is believed to be having another home built nearby but construction on that home is not expected to be completed for at least another year. The 10,300 square foot plus Mediterranean/ French Provincial/ Hacienda style home is located on a prominent view site lot in The Estates section of The Oaks development which is essentially a very expensive gated community within an already expensive gated community overlooking the Valley side of Calabasas.
