A busy Jamie Lynn Spears was seen searching through her things yesterday (February 20) as she made her way through the LAX Airport. Not too far behind Jamie Lynn was her father, carrying little Maddie who were both flying out of Los Angeles and back to Mississippi with Jamie Lynn.
 
According to OK!, Jamie Lynn met up with big sis Britney Spears for a lunch date in Hollywood a couple of days ago. An eyewitness tells OK! that the sisters — who don’t often spend time together— had a lunch date in Hollywood, before heading back to Brit’s Calabasas estate where Britney got to spend some quality time with little Maddie.
“It’s very rare for the sisters to hang out together,” said the source. “It’s a once-a-year thing, if that.”

Today Britney Spears had a rare rendezvous with her little sister, Jamie Lynn, and her young niece, Maddie in L.A., OK! has learned.
An eyewitness tells OK! that the sisters — who don’t often spend time together— had a lunch date in Hollywood, before heading back to Brit’s Calabasas estate where Britney got to spend some quality time with little Maddie.
Brit, who was wearing tight pink short shorts with matching pinks sandals, came from a nearly three-hour-long meeting in Westwood, L.A., and met 18-year-old Jamie Lynn — who is thought to have flown in from Louisiana today — at the Mondrian hotel in Hollywood.
The pair caught up over a late lunch in a hotel room. We bet they gossiped about Jamie Lynn’s new older man, 28-year-old businessman James Watson!

Mommy and me may not include times two for Jamie Lynn Spears as according to an insider cited by Life & Style Weekly even though big sister Britney Spears had back-to-back babies, Jamie Lynn is no Britney Spears! The family insider chats with the weekly magazine and the family source says Jamie Lynn’s situation is different.
The insider spills this to the magazine, “She’s not married and doesn’t have a nanny – it’s just her. She doesn’t even have her mom to help right now because Lynne’s out promoting her book.”

But that doesn’t mean Lynne doesn’t adore her granddaughter. “Maddie is the best baby I have ever seen,” says Lynne. “She’s like a little anger.” And Jamie Lynn’s been getting loads of quality time with her angel now that she and Casey, 19, aren’t spending much time together. Notes the family insider, “She’s the one home alone with Maddie every night.”
There have been reports that Britney desperately wants Jamie Lynn and Maddie to make their way out to Los Angeles and live with the back on track Britney.

Lynne Spears is making the rounds!
Lynne is scheduled to make her TV debut on tomorrow’s “Today” show to discuss her upcoming book ““Through The Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World.”
But according to new reports, Lynne will also make an appearance on Larry King Live. “She is tentatively scheduled to be a guest on the show on Sept 24th” reports Perez Hilton.

Jamie-Lynn had flown in from her home in Louisiana to Los Angeles to celebrate the birthdays of Britney’s sons, which are only two days apart.
Sean Preston turned three on September 14 and Jayden was two on September 12. It is not clear if their father Kevin Federline, from whom Britney is divorced, was present at the party.
Looking at the family portrait it seems incredible to think that in June last year the 26-year-old served her mother with a restraining order to stop her having any contact with her grandsons.
Then in January, in an image that shocked her fans, she was pictured sobbing uncontrollably on a kerb at the side of the road with only her puppy for comfort.
Britney then suffered a very public meltdown, shaving her head and losing custody of her sons to her ex-husband in February.
Her increasingly erratic behaviour led to her being taken into psychiatric care under a mental health order. A judge made her parents her guardians, giving them control of her money to stop her being taken advantage of by hangers on.
Since emerging from the mental health unit in the spring Britney has remained at home in LA with her father Jamie, getting her life back together.
Having been virtually estranged from her parents, Britney is now described as being ‘incredibly close’ to them again. This represents a major turnaround, since at the height of her troubles Britney publicly blamed her woes on her father.
Now, Jamie says: ‘We’ve grown a lot. I’ve been able to come back into my daughter’s life, and that was an adjustment anyway, because I’m an alcoholic and it’s the first time we’ve really been able to share.
‘It’s wonderful. It’s new for both of us. She sometimes calls me 50 times a day and asks me things that light my life up. But, like all daughters, she is very cunning. So she gets what she wants a lot.’
And Britney, who found out about her then 16-year-old sister’s pregnancy from a paparazzi, is once again close to Jamie Lynn. After months of not speaking the pop star attended her sister’s baby shower, marking the beginning of a new relationship for the two.

Meet your cousins!
Jamie Lynn Spears brought two-month-old daughter Maddie to Los Angeles Wednesday for the baby’s first ever play date with Britney’s two sons.
The 17-year-old flew from Louisiana – along with her baby and her mother Lynne (whose memoir comes out next week). The whole family then headed to Britney’s Studio City house, where the singer was enjoying a regular visitation day with her two boys, Preston, who turns 3 on Sunday, and Jayden, who turns 2 on Friday.
Britney’s ex, Kevin Federline, came to pick up his sons himself, and stayed for about an hour to take part in the reunion.

X17 reports and Kevin was in the house for a full 45 minutes, allowing the boys to finally meet their cousin. Glad they got to have a little bonding time. Sean Preston’s birthday is on Sunday He will be 3 years old and Jayden’s birthday is Friday! JJ will be turning 2 Wow how time flies.

The youngest Spears arrived in LA yesterday afternoon and headed STRAIGHT to sister Brit’s house to introduce little Maddie to her aunt.
But the REAL surprise is that Maddie got to meet her ex-step-half uncle, or whatever he is – Kevin!
KFed was at Britney’s to pick up Sean and Jayden and, like he did for the first time last week, he went inside and hung out for a bit — in fact, he appeared to stay JUST to wait for JL so HE TOO could meet the baby. He was inside for a total of about 45 minutes. It’s the third time in a week he’s gone inside WITHOUT a bodyguard to chill!
SO much to think about! A Britney/Jamie Lynn reunion; an aunt meeting her niece for the second time after the birth; and Brit and Kevin spending time together!!!

More details from BH… A source reveals to BreatheHeavy.com that Lynne & Jamie Lynn’s Delta Airlines plane touched down at LAX in L.A. from New Orleans yesterday afternoon.
The mom and daughter duo are in town with baby Maddie to visit Britney, celebrate Sean Jayden’s birthdays this week, and to finally introduce the boys to Maddie Briann.
No sign of Aldridge.
UPDATE: Kevin was at Britney’s house when Lynne, Jamie Lynn and Maddie arrived. Kevin was there picking up the boys after their visit with Britney. The source continued to say that Kevin was at Britney’s for nearly an hour.
