Making big changes in her life, Jamie Lynn Spears showed off a big smile as she ran around Kentwood, Louisiana on Monday (February 8).

The little sister of Britney Spears was out grabbing up lunch at Sonic Burger with her father, Jamie Spears, before the two made their way back home.

As previously reported the “Zooey 101” starlet (18) has sent her babydaddy packing (they have a 19-month old daughter Maddie together) and has taken up with 28-year-old James Watson, a well-off businessman.

Britney Spears and her former husband Kevin Federline have become best friends, according to her sister.Jamie Lynn Spears told Hello!

Kevin, and Britney divorced three years ago, and Kevin has been taking care of the couple’s two children on the singer’s US tour.

Kevin, who has custody of Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2, is also apparently on good terms with Britney’s parents.

“Kevin has been great, as always,” Jamie Lynn said.

“He and Britney have become best friends. She knows how much he cares about the boys and he knows the same is true of her.”

Britney and Kevin married in 2004 after just six months together, but announced plans to divorce in November 2006.

Last year, Kevin was awarded full custody of the couple’s two children as the singer battled to control her personal life.

Britney is due to head to Europe in June to begin the international leg of her Circus, world tour.

Casey Aldridge, the boyfriend of Jamie Lynn Spears and father to her 10-month-old baby, was released from a Mississippi hospital on Friday, five days after flipping over in his pickup truck while partying with friends at a late-night bachelor party, a family source tells PEOPLE.

“Casey got home today, and he’s doing really well,” the source says. “He’ll have to have some rest for the next few weeks. He’s still got a headache, but everything looks good.”

Aldridge, 20, suffered a head injury that required no surgery and apparently caused no permanent damage, the source says. He was taken to a small, rural hospital in Ferriday, La., early Sunday and later transferred by ambulance to the larger University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, where he spent time in the intensive care unit.

Spears has been at his side since the incident, even riding in the ambulance with Aldridge on the way to the Mississippi hospital.

“They’re both at the house in Liberty (Miss.),” the source says. Spears’s mother, Lynne, has been keeping the couple’s baby, Maddie Briann, “for most of the time during this whole episode, but I guess the baby will be going back home. Now Jamie Lynn will have two babies to care for.”

Aldridge had been attending a bachelor party for a cousin who is getting married next week. He is the best man, “but I don’t know if he’ll be up to that or not. We’ll just have to wait and see,” the source says.

‘It’s an anomaly that no one was injured more seriously,’ police tell People of truck accident.

After an accident early Sunday morning left Casey Aldridge, the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ child, with mild brain trauma and a “skull fracture around his hairline,” sources close to the 19-year-old said on Monday that Aldridge would soon be moved out of ICU at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, People.com reported.

“They said it was borderline, whether he needed surgery or not,” the source said, “but they’ve taken some scans and see no further damage.”

The source also told People that Spears — who has a 10-month-old daughter, Maddie Briann, with Aldridge — is doing OK since her boyfriend was injured in the accident. “Jamie Lynn has been at the hospital, and all indications are that she is holding up well,” the family source said.

During the accident, the truck Aldridge was driving flipped on a Louisiana highway, ejecting Aldridge and two of his four passengers. According to People, the passengers, all male, had been coming home from a bachelor party at Aldridge’s cousin’s house.

One of the other passengers reportedly suffered from broken collarbone, another had a possible hip injury and a third had some mild bruising. Aldridge, 19, has been charged with a misdemeanor count of careless operation of a motor vehicle.

“It’s an anomaly that no one was injured more seriously,” Louisiana State Police spokesman Mark Dennis told People. “Usually in that kind of accident, you see serious injuries or fatalities.”

The family source added, “Only one of them was even wearing a seat belt. There had to be angels all around them.”

Today ( April 4th)  is  Jamie Lynn Spears 18th Birthday!

Her relationship with babydaddy Casey Aldridge has been anything but conventional. But now it sounds like Jamie Lynn Spears is ready to settle down and get married.

The “Zoey 101” cutie has been reportedly moving forward with plans to marry Aldridge, including ordering invitations and picking out a wedding gown (rumored to be designed by Monique Lhuillier).

As for the all-important wedding cake, Miss Spears is said to have chosen a three-tiered chocolate concoction.

Given all of these preparations, it’s expected that Jamie Lynn and Casey will be setting the date in the not-too-distant future.

It’s been an eventful trip home to Louisiana for Britney Spears and her boys Jayden James and Sean Preston, with a trip to the hospital and a tour of an alligator farm. And after their wildlife adventure yesterday (November 11) it was time for some lunch.

The “Womanizer” songstress and her boys were joined by her father Jamie, sister Jamie Lynn and niece Maddie Briann at Kentwood restaurant Nyla’s for a delicious midday meal.

Coming up in a couple of weeks, Britney is scheduled to do some international promotion for her upcoming album Circus, set to hit stores December 2nd.

Miss Spears is slated to appear on the UK’s “X Factor” as well as French show “Star Academy” over the Thanksgiving holiday, prompting her website to announce, “Looks like Britney will be spending her Thanksgiving holiday in Europe!”

Now that her son Jayden James is out of the hospital, Britney Spears is breathing much easier. And earlier today she was spotted with members at an alligator and turtle farm.

The “Gimme More” songstress was joined by her sister Jamie Lynn (with daughter Maddie Briann), mother Lynne, and her two sons Jayden James and Sean Preston on a tour of the massive wildlife park near her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.

And Miss Spears looked to be having a marvelous time with her family and friends, apparently goofing around and laughing throughout the afternoon.

This trip is the first one Britney has been allowed with her boys since she lost custody of them earlier this year. Let’s just hope Jayden’s hospitalization doesn’t complicate things!

Happy to have her big sister back in town, Jamie Lynn Spears was spotted out and about Kentwood, Louisiana on Saturday afternoon (November 8).

Rolling around in her white Range Rover, the “Zoey 101” starlet/new mommy stopped off at a local supermarket with a gal pal to grab some shopping needs.

After finishing up there, it was off to the Sonic Burger drive-through before heading back to the family home - where the whole Spears clan is enjoying a weekend together.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Jamie Lynn’s sister Britney flew back home with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, as well as with her father and brother on Friday morning.

Allowed to bring Jayden and Sean back home for the first time since losing custody of the two in January, a source told press, “This is a terrific indication of the progress she’s made, and the growing trust between the two parents. It was arranged cooperatively between Kevin (Federline) and the lawyers. Britney just wanted to get some family time in and show the boys Louisiana, now that they’re getting older.”

Mommy and me may not include times two for Jamie Lynn Spears as according to an insider cited by Life & Style Weekly even though big sister Britney Spears had back-to-back babies, Jamie Lynn is no Britney Spears! The family insider chats with the weekly magazine and the family source says Jamie Lynn’s situation is different.

The insider spills this to the magazine, “She’s not married and doesn’t have a nanny - it’s just her. She doesn’t even have her mom to help right now because Lynne’s out promoting her book.”

But that doesn’t mean Lynne doesn’t adore her granddaughter. “Maddie is the best baby I have ever seen,” says Lynne. “She’s like a little anger.” And Jamie Lynn’s been getting loads of quality time with her angel now that she and Casey, 19, aren’t spending much time together. Notes the family insider, “She’s the one home alone with Maddie every night.”

There have been reports that Britney desperately wants Jamie Lynn and Maddie to make their way out to Los Angeles and live with the back on track Britney.

When reports hit that claimed that Jamie Lynn Spears was “pregnant again” many were easily convinced. Some had been skeptical when rumors hit that Britney Spears was pregnant with her second child just weeks after giving birth to her first son Sean Preston Federline.

It was confirmed that Britney indeed was pregnant with baby number two a few weeks later so it was probably an easy sell to convince some celebrity observers and some of the entertainment blogs that Jamie Lynn was indeed preggers. Britney and fiancé Casey Aldridge even did another cover with OK! explaining that the rumors were all nonsense.

“Casey denies that he cheated on Jamie Lynn and he’s begging her to marry him,” an insider had said earlier. He certainly denied it in the OK! magazine interview. Still, some believe that the Jamie Lynn spears saga might play better in Los Angeles and one of those is reportedly big sister Britney Spears.

When Jamie Lynn flew to Los Angeles with Maddie and her mother to celebrate the birthdays of her big sis Britney’s boys - Sean Preston, now 3, and Jayden James, 2 - on Sept. 13, “Britney said she’d rather have her sister live with her in Los Angeles than go back to Casey,” an insider told the National Enquirer.
