It seems as if pop princess Britney Spears has enjoyed the taste of TV with her recent stint on US TV sitcom How I Met Your Mother, she is now in talks with TV executives to try and work out a deal for a new show. Britney has been in meetings with Merv Griffin Entertainment president, Roy Bank, on Wednesday. In the meeting both Spears and Bank spoke about a number of possible program ideas even one about a new Music show.
Discussing a new TV show is just one of many different things that Britney Spears is planning, to try and get her career going again. Britney has had a very bad year and half, which got so bad that she had to be hospitalized for mental illness. It was only a matter of time before Spears decided that she would want another chance on the TV as she got rave reviews with her performance as a ditzy receptionist on How I Met Your Mother. There are reports that Britney has been approached and asked to star as Sandy, in a new production of musical ‘Grease’ on Broadway.
Although Britney is proving to be trying to get on with her life, she still has a way to go until she has full control over it. Los Angeles commissioner Reva Goetz has ruled that Britney’s medical and psychological condition is still “somewhat tenuous.” As a result, she will still have to stay under the supervision of her father Jamie. Her condition will be up for review on June 17.
